摘要:
      换流阀组件的可靠性直接影响模块化多电平换流阀(Modular Multilevel Converter, MMC)装备的运行安全,现有对换流阀组件可靠性评估大都忽略了电容器失效的影响,提出计及金属化膜电容器腐蚀失效的MMC换流阀组件可靠性评估方法。首先,基于实际电容器结构和材料属性,建立了金属化膜电容器的温度场模型,并对其温度分布规律进行比较验证。其次,在分析金属化膜电容器失效模式的基础上,以腐蚀失效为例,考虑电压和温度加速因子的影响,建立了金属化膜电容器的故障率模型。最后,结合焊接式IGBT器件故障率模型,提出了计及金属化膜电容器失效的换流阀组件可靠性评估模型,对MMC换流阀的整流与逆变工况进行故障率计算和对比。结果表明:文中提出的模型可以较好地评估换流阀组件不同运行工况下的可靠性,电容器失效对MMC换流阀组件可靠性影响较为明显,逆变工况下组件的故障率明显高于整流运行工况。
Abstract:
      The reliability of converter valve module directly affects the security operation of modular multi-level converter (MMC), however the impact of the module’s capacitor failure is usually neglected for the existing traditional reliability evaluation, a reliability analysis method on converter valve module considering the corrosion failure mode of metallized film capacitor is proposed. Firstly, the temperature field model of metallized film capacitor is established based on the structure and material properties of an actual capacitor, and the result of temperature distribution is compared and demonstrated. Secondly, based on the analysis of failure mode of metallized film capacitor, taking the corrosion failure as an example, the failure rate model of metallized film capacitor is obtained by considering the influence of the voltage and temperature acceleration factors. Finally, combining with the failure rate model of the wire-bonded IGBT device, a reliability analysis model of converter valve module considering the failure of metallized film capacitor is presented, and the failure rate of converter valve module under the rectifier and inverter operational conditions is calculated and compared. The results show that the proposed reliability analysis model could preferably evaluate the reliability of the converter valve module under different operational conditions. The failure of metallized film capacitor has a significant impact on the reliability of MMC converter module and the failure rate of converter valve module under the inverter condition is significantly higher than that under the rectifier condition.
