Abstract:A system to measure and analyse three-dimensional movements of spine was developed, which is capable of determining the position of points on vertebral and calculating linear and angle displacements of spinal segment. Bilateral facetectomy of cervical spine, as a posterior decompression leading to the instability, must be applied the fusion or the internal fixation to stable the cervical spine. The stable capacity of Halifax Clamp and wire fixation to the instable cervical spine was studied in order to choose an suitable fixation in clinic. On nine fresh adult cervical spinal specimens (C 3-T1), the three-dimensional motions of C4-5 segment were analysed to evaluate the immediate stability following bilateral facetectomy, Halifax Clamp and wire fixation. The results showed that the stability with Halifax Clamp was greater than that of the intact state in flexion, extension and lateral bending, but the same asin axial rotation. The stability with wire fixation was greater and equal to inflexion and in extension, lateral bending and axial rotation respectively. The ROMs with Halifax Clamp were bigger than those with wire fixation in flexion, extension and lateral bending, but closed to in axial rotation.

Abstract:This paper conducted torsional and bending tests for rhesus monkey's elbow joints and obtained load-defor mation curves, and then these curves were changed into load-injury factor curves. These results provided scientific basis for development of the arm preventive system installed in the high performance ejection seat and were useful in stability design of the artifical elbow joint.

Abstract:Study about measurement method of biomechanical property on dog's mandibular bone in vivo. When the main vertical occlusal force acting on mandibular molar, strain of mandibular bone in site was measured by the strain-electrometry.After the mechanical model was analyzed and calculated, elastic modulus of mandibular bone was 4.897×102 MPa. Biomechanical property of method and index on mandibular bone in vivo and quality of material about bone tissue were discussed.

Abstract:In this paper, the essential factors of the traditional chinese massage(rolling) has been analyzed by Colour Doppler Flow Image. It is considered advisable that the frequency of rolling should be 120 times a minute with a moderate of 7kg and a five-minute duration. CDFI is noninvasive, easy to carry out and serves as a reliable means to study the therapentical mechanism of the traditional chinese medicine by guaranteeing dynamic observations, obtaining the parameters of the alterations of the blood vessel calibres and blood flows under different conditions.

Abstract:In order to determine effects of atlas burst fracture on the stability of the occipito-at-lanto-axial complex, six fresh bony and ligamental cadervic specimens of occipito (C0) to (C3) were used to produce atlas burst fracture model by osteotomy. 1.53Nm pure moment was applied to the complex to produce its physiological three-dimensional motions.this ex-perimental result suggested that atlas burst fracture severely affects the stability of the occi-pito-atlas-axial complex, but does not cause its axial rotational instability. If atlas burst frac-ture is associated with transverse ligament rupture, the stability of the occipito-atlas-axial complex increases more than the former and its axial rotational is also lost. Therefore, the status of transverse ligament is the most important indicator for evaluation the acute instabi-lity of the occipito-atlanto-axial complex caused by atlas burst fracture. The biomechanical basis for surgical and non-surgical treatment for atlas burst fracture is also discussed.

Abstract:In this paper, the effects of peripheral-layer viscosity on the flow characersitics due to peristaltic transport is investigated. For a given viscosity function, mechanical parameters (such as the flux, the frictional force and the pressure drop) vary as the viscosity of the peripheral-layer fluid changes. We also investigate the effects of viscosity funtion and the peristaltic parameters of the wall on the peristaltic transport.

Abstract:From April 1991 to Feburary 1995, 104 cases of stress fractures of lower extremities (8 cases involved femur; the other 96 cases, tibia) were treated in our hospital. The niechanism of this kind of fracture was explored by clinical observation, anatomic investigation and biomechanical analysis. It was found that the main cause of stress fracture of lower extremity was the bony intrinsic construction failed to adapt to the stress varying during the training course. When the destruction of bony structure was in excess of the remodeling capacity of the bone, the stress fracture was resulted.Owning to the anatomic characteristics, the distal one-third of femur and the middle medical aspect of tibia were the significant weak points in leg movement, and then they become the common site of stress fracture. For the prevention of these fracture, the remodeling capacity of the bone must be considered, instead of keeping the muscular adaption in the mind only in the training course arrangment. Sl...更多ow running will reduce the femoral inclination and then decrease the shearing force. 还原

Abstract:In this study, bone resorption and bone formation in cortex under the plates of varying stiffness were observed after a single tetracycline labelling was done. The results showed that after plate internal fixation both bone resorption and bone fomation activities were increased with predomination of bone resorption and that enhanced bone remolding appeared a directional development from early endosteal site to middle area of cortex by entering through transverse vessek. The early activated bone remolding in periosteal site extended from the marginal areas of the plate to the center beneath the plate.

Abstract:HMOO-1 type apparatus for measuring the internal pressure of bones was used to investigate the changes of the internal pressure of cervical intervertebral disc in dogs and pigs under different angles and drawing strenth. It provides theoretical proof to treat cervical dynamc stenosis in anterior flex with draft and osteotherapy. The results showed that negative internal pressure of the intervertebral disc varied with the angle and the drawing strenth, each of which had characteristic law of its own. It implies that this therapy is effficient and safe under the condition of decompression of spine and nerve root so as to release the soft tissue spasn and correct slides.
